Knee pads returning to the NFL?

The NFL committee will soon discuss the strong possibility of returning one of the safety requirements it used to have...knee and thigh pads. The NFL says it's trying to change it's image as a "more safe sport" by adding on to the requirements of the safety rules to have the same requirements as the lower levels of football. Right now knee and thigh pads are not required to be worn due to the fact that it can make the players and the game itself faster. Now the NFL is adding onto its new injury policies by trying to get this new one passed. If it is passed though, the rule will not go into effect until the 2013 season, so the players can still have one more year without having to worry about this rule.

Transparent Tv's

Google phone eyeglasses? I think not. This may be a new part of our foreseeable future with transparent televisions being the next big thing. We can learn from the past that TV's have evolved; going from black & white, to color, to flat screen, to H-D, to 3-D, and now this. You could also probably guess which company is behind this, it is in fact Apple who always never fails to amaze on awesome electronics, and products. It will be shaped just like a normal flat screen, but much lighter, thinner, and way more clearer and cleaner picture. This may just be the next big thing in the TV evolution.

Now officially Barrett vs Walker

Last night the state recall elections were held statewide to determine who will be challenging Governor Scott Walker in about a month. Walker blew away his Republican challenger winning 95% of the votes to secure the GOP nomination. His next challenge will be a familiar face, Tom Barrett; mayor of Milwaukee will once again take on Walker for the spot of Governor just like they did in 2010 when Walker had won that election. Barrett had beaten out another Democrat; Kathleen Falk in a somewhat close race. We are now about only one month away from finding out whether the people really do want Walker out of office, or if this was just a big waste of time and money.

It's Back?

Image DetailYes, the rumors are in fact true. Clive Palmer, an Australian billionaire has announced that he will fund the construction of the "Titanic II." It will be an exact replica as the original one with the same dimensions, but will be upgraded to modern day technology (yes that includes iceberg detection). Right now it is scheduled to be completed by 2016, and will set sail on it's maiden voyage from England to New York later that year. It will be also escorted by the Chinese navy which will ensure the safety of the passengers. Palmer said he dedicated the construction the men and women who died on the original, now over 100 years ago.
