Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich has announced that he will officially drop out of the 2012 Presidential race. Gingrich had only won a total of two states in South Carolina and Georgia. With him now out, it is now inevitable that the man taking on President Obama this fall will be former governor Mitt Romney. Romney has almost swept all of the delegates and is turning out to be the clear favorite for this years Republican nomination. Gingrich stated that it is now clear that Romney will be the GOP nominee, and will be the man taking on Obama for the White House.   P.S- Ron Paul is still in it ;) ....what a man!

Boston Marathon still the most famous race in the world

This Monday the world famous "Boston Marathon" was held in the Boston area in Massachusetts. This has been 115th time the Boston Marathon has been ran, and it attracts world wide attention every year. This year the top 3 places in the race all went to Kenya, with Bernard Kipyego in 3rd, Levy Matebo in 2nd, and Wesley Korir winning it with a time of 2 hours, 12 minutes, and 40 seconds. Jason Hartmann was the first American male to finish at 4th. On the womens side, the top 3 also went to Kenya, with the winner Sharon Cherop having a time of 2:31:50. Patriots former line-backer Tedi Bruschi also competed just for fun. As usuall the Boston Marathon still lives up to its title as the most famous marathon in the world.

The worlds quietest place causes human brain to hallucinate

In Minneapolis, Minnesota there is now a room that is so quiet, that the longest time anyone has been able to stay in there is 45 minutes. It's called the "Anechoic Chamber" at Orfield Laboratories, and the owner Steven Orfield says he challenges people to stay in the chamber in the dark. Many people have gone in and most average out to only being able to stay in for 30 minutes. The reason why is because the brain begins to hallucinate after that long of being in dead silence, and you can become disoriented. It's so quiet because of its 3.3 foot thick fiberglass wedges, double walls of steel, and a foot thick wall of concrete. The main purpose of the chamber though is to test the sound quality and volumes of products, such as motor-bikes, washing machines etc. According to Orfield, the chamber filters out 99.99% of all sound, and the only thing that it compares to is the vacuum of space where there is no sound at all. So if you think you're tough enough to handle the dead silence of the Anechoic Chamber, the challenge is always open.

Lying on the Internet is now Illegal: Penalty is death.

The United States Senate recently just passed another strict internet law that now makes all fraud, and false internet posts illegal. The law states that "Any one individual that is a citizen or resident of the United States found guilty or suspected of Internet Fraud/Falsehood will be sentenced to death by torture." FBI agents have just arrested and put to death everyone that has ever worked for "The Onion" and are currently working on other false newspapers. Republican Candidate Rick Santorum said that "It is a necessary step forward for our country that will allow the nothing but the truth on the internet." Shortly after he said this, Santorum was shot by FBI agents for his entire campaign which has just been him lying the whole time. One of the biggest busts though was in a Wisconsin High School in Door County, where the students were assigned a project in which they were supposed to lie about a current event blog. FBI agents are now tracking and monitoring everyone that will be posting a false blog between now and Wednesday night and will move in and shoot everyone convicted of internet falsehood on sight in their homes the next morning.
